What did you guys use to seal your deck plates? Thinking about finally doing it today or tomorrow.

And Monte, you mentioned somewhere about you did a few different things to your engine that up'd your mpgs? (I think you said it in the what have you done thread). What did you do exactly?

O and awaiting a call back on some zoom zoom:cool:

Agreed. That is one of the ugliest Lexus ive ever seen. My favorite models are the IS models, specifically IS 300

Yea I found one. Waiting for the guy to call me back, he said a guy in LA made an offer but was waiting for something and I told the guy i can respect that and offered him his full asking price and said he could sell it now or if the other guy fell through I would buy it for what that guy had offered.

Well Ive got the exhaust done, cleaned my MAF( which really wasnt even dirty) last spring. Probably need some new plugs as I have never done that yet, and what wires? Any recommendations?
Ive got my deckplate, just gotta get some sealant stuff and cut up the box.

How heavy was it? Ya I'm impressed how well the little trucks handle a trailer. Even with no trailer brakes the taco stops surprisingly well.

Oh damn! Nice find. What does he want for it? Just pick up a Walbro 190lph pump. No need for a 255lph.

yes Densos are also very good.

Oh and Mac i also Seafoamed. Id do that right before you change plugs actually as its not good on plugs. If you put it in the crank case do it about 500miles or so before and oil change.

Hes asking 2300, the guy offered him 2k. Yea all I would get is the 190, no need for larger. I dont know the last time the plugs were changed so i'll pick up some Densos.

Why you say that? Have the new wires seemed like an improvement yet?

I seafoamed it last year before my oil change, didnt change the plugs tho:anonymous: didn't know enough about everything yet. Im gonna change the oil in a week or two so maybe I will seafoam it again.

My mileage is fine, I just want to go through everything and give it a good once over and upgrade before heading home again for the winter.

EDIT: I only seafoamed through the vacuum lines, little in the oil and the rest in the gas tank.
