So I went to check my air filter about a week ago and there was the start of a mouse nest in it!! I cleaned it all out and had to clean the cabin air filter as well. When I was driving to yellowstone I was getting much better mileage. My scan gauge average prior to cleaning out the air filter was just under 15 mpg after the trip to yellowstone I pulled that average up to 18.1 mpg. I haven't checked the mileage from any of my fuel ups yet though.

So when I said that I had lost all that mileage from the gears I think a good chunk of it came from a partially clogged air filter rather than the gears. I must have picked up a mouse when the taco sat on jack stands at Brant's for 2 weeks.

I expect it will be in May like last year. Want to wait for all the dcab rubi's to leave before we invade. The safari is usually end of april.

GENTLEMAN You will be pleased to know that there is not going to be a project boat...instead it will be something more realistic and important...project town house. And no, it's not an actual project, it's a really nice place. But it will of course be a constant expense. But we are getting a steal for it, so it's a pretty dam good chance Ill have it soon.

Im never to early to start thinking about moab.. That my friend is a fact....
I have a few people that wanna go with me cuz they know i normaly keep my groups small and haul ass. last year only two of us wend and we did poison spider all the weay to gold bar rim for the first time in 6.5 house and only got out to spot eachother 3 times. Just the same id be willing to do it with a big group.

 

Thats one thing that sucked about the tacoma meet. There were such large groups that it would take at least an hour per major obstacle...

The nice thing about big groups is that you will never not have something you need.

 

Can't wait for MOAB 2013. Hopefully No more street queens So We can all haul ass. It sucked leaving everyone in the dust at KANES CREEK except Mark of course which was a surprise Haha! 4 trucks 15 minutes ahead of everyone else. It was like having our own small group inside a larger group.

 

I think I would like to go thru that sandy creek bottom section a little slower next time. I'd like to actualy be able to see it and enjoy it.

Not that it wasn't fun blasting thru it.
