Installed the cb radio. But the midland 1001z radio won't leave channel 33. I turn the channel knob every which way and it flickers 32 and 31 but doesn't change. I can swith to instant 9 but can't get any other channels..

    Any thoughts?

Ryan Killeen? What about him? I bsed with his brother Cody a little.today. i didnt know you knew Ryan cuz he had a Taco. I saw a white 1st gen in our parking lot at the armory one drill and couldnt ever figure out who's it was until today. We are out in the desert and Ryan is at the Med barracks on the base in the city cuz his shoulder or something is still fucked up so I havent seen him around.

I was wondering if it was Ryan that almost lost the track. Lol. Yeah I have known Ryan Killeen for along time. I pulled him over when he first bought his truck and I had my first taco. That was way back when. I knew he was over there also but didn't know he messed up his shoulder again. Or is it just cause he messed it up before and now they don't let him play with the big dogs. Lol.

Wow... that is a shitty ass ford apparently... really 265's arent that much wider and you are probably a lot lighter, but i cant believe you out ran it? Is it a V6 or.did it just spin the tires too much? Nice job on rocking a taco though:D

His.shoulder is still messsd up... i think they might be medically discharging him eventually. Not sure though.

Im skiping and going LT man  Ill probably poop myself haha

Not really gonna change the rear though. Its rides smooth enough and flexes like a beast. Im just gonna relocate shocks and get nicer shocks. bout it for the rear for me. I have massive travel now as it is and doing SUA is pointless for what i do.

I don't know man. The definition of MT has gotten pretty blurry. Besides, I never made a claim to MT.

All the riding you did with me was slooooooow stuff. The truck is at its very best at 50+ on curvy, gravelly, wahboarded forest service roads...

    Like buddah :D

    True that!

Mine can't do that fast curves anymore. Too top heavy. Hoping my sway bar quick disconnects work out tho to help with that..

    Agreed.

I understand the definition but I also know that my UCAs significantly increased and eased my wheel travel and therefore total flex.

I also know that extended travel COs only have about a 1/2" more of travel over non-extended versions.

Ya but doesn't that 1/2 net you like 1-1.5" of wheel travel?

Yeah extended travel C/O's don't net you much... i think custom sized ones would be the way to go but it depends on what kind of travel your lower ball joint can handle. I want to pull out my c/o's and measure the max travel of the my ball joints and go from there.

My mother in law has an 08 F150 with that same motor I believe and that think can smoke me on open ground and gets about the same mileage as me:eek: damn ford... they did good with that V8 for sure.
