well ofcourse the motor would go in, and probably look at re doing the front suspension

Im trying to find a car for the summer so i dont have to drive my truck to Oklahoma, something sporty but something that is gonna get better mpgs than the truck.

 

I don't see how. Both were 2.0l the 22r head might flow better I guess..I know the supra and soara guys would put a 1jzgte head on a 2jzge block as they were cheap. A 1jz head doesn't flow as nice as a 2j but with the right cams you could have a 9.5k rpm monster.

 

Maybe it was something with the 22re...I'd have to ask my friend hes a 22re guru. I just remember him saying something about taking the two engines and swapping something made it a beast.

 

Stay away Mac. It has a branded title, probably from a major rebuild due to an accident. Not worth the hassles.

 

Could be that the 22r internals were a bit more stout as well. They were beastly. Giving it the better head and EFI would make it a great motor.

 

Plus that's Hondas top sports car now..so..yea would be very pricey to insure haha

Yea no doubt about the strength of the internals on those engines. Plus turbos for them are decently priced lol

 

Easy to turbo. Lots of room and it's an I line motor.

I've been looking for a cheap Honda anything really. Or VW or a Toyota celica.

I dunno something old would be super affordable but I also dont want to buy something thats gonna break down on me when im 20 hours from home.

Agreed. I dont doubt a yota or honda wouldnt last. But i figure if I gotta put the money into buying it maybe I'd just get something I would actually enjoy. Who knows tho.
