    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Another reason I love a base model truck. Duct tape a $1.50 key anywhere I like.[​IMG]

    I just confirmed that the truck will start using a FOB without a battery (by holding it up to the start button).

    So if you decide to leave a FOB in the truck (either with a battery but turned off or without a battery), you'll want to hide it pretty well.

    Seems like a reasonable solution. Someone trying to steal your truck would first have to find your hidden key underneath the truck. Then they'd have to find the hidden FOB inside the truck in order to start the truck and drive away. Of course they say that thieves know all of the hiding places!

    Really!
    well this certainly changes my plan then...I like the push button start and smart key system, but it makes things complicated when you want to have a handy spare just in case plan.
