Beautiful... Well when I finally get around to my retro, I will install the LED strip to at least just see what it will look like. $60 I figure why not see. No Halos for this guy though...

I ended up not doing the LEDs. I did black out everything though. I used smoke tinting on the turns and reflectors. Came out pretty good. Still working on aiming the headlights(which is a bitch) I think my driver side got knocked after aligning and expoy because there is a slight angle to it :( other then that it is prrrreeeetttty swwweet

thank goodness...!! aiming is all in the prep! get straight drilled holes and mount along the reference lines built into the reflector and your good to go! i did not have to adjust a thing on the last three retros i did because i did my prep right! mounted to ensure the cutoffs were level w/ eachother (which they were!) and jb welded up, no adjustments! if they moved after you epoxied them, you didnt mount them well enough...just imagine when you go over a speed bump or something...ensure they are mounted better before you finish them up

I think its all a alignment thing with just aiming them now. it looked a lil off because it wasn't sitting right in on the truck after I looked harder.
Thanks yoshi for the help btw. Matt helped out too. He stated that they don't even use the 4 mounting screws and that they just jb weld the projector in. A tab did break off as I was installing the mounting screws but it worked out fine.

I blacked out the reflector and the turns with automotive grade transparent paint(auto paint shop) same with the blacked out lights. Overall it was an experience and I'd do it again if the car didn't come stock with it :)
