Thanks for having me. I lurk here often. But this time, I had to reach out, and I've gotten some help, but I still am at a loss with my vibrating taco. Takeoff shudder. I've lurked and read. A Lot. Still perplexed and wondering what to do next. Driveshaft carrier bearing drop. Undrop. 3* degree shims. You name it. Takeoff shudder. I'm now considering a new driveshaft, with double cardan joint at the bearing. Anyone want to chime in?

    ECGS needle bearing delete

Ive taken some measurements, and the one thing that stands out to me is my input flange angle is 1.5* and my pinon flange angle is 4.5*

Does this throw any red flags up?

IIRC the two angles should cancel each other out. In your case 4.5 - 1.5 = 3. (Should be essentially zero).

So, taking my 3 degree shims out is the next thing I should try?

    Perhaps.

I'm on a 2.5" or so lift. My old man EMU kit came with a carrier bearing drop. That's it. Local driveline shop says my angles are good.
