im mounting an ARB Elements under my RCI rack in the bed of the truck. I’ve seen people raptor-line a piece of 1/2” - 3/4” plywood, and trim it to fit. The fridge slide would mount to the plywood vs drilling holes in the bed.

The ones using plywood obviously have canopy’s or some type of cover to keep the weather out. I want to do the same type of thing to mount the fridge to, but it’s exposed to weather with the RCI rack. Andy suggestions on ways to mount the slide vs having to drill holes in the bed?

I'd just put 4 small 1/4" holes through the bed and call it a day. I don't see any reason why you'd want to add an extra 60-75 pounds in plywood for really no reason. I put a fender washer one either side of the bed hole and called it done.

How much height does the slide mount add? I have a Dometic CFX-35 I want to fit under a bed cover. I got about an inch of room left. Thanks.

This DFG slide adds like 1/2 in tops. others may add a little more.
