My 2011 came with a set of retrofits that have a amber/white switchback halo. They work fantastic and look pretty cool. Since they were OEM housings, the sockets/bulbs for the OEM DRLs and corner lights are still there, just not hooked up.

Anybody with retrofits done anything with these?
Was thinking about sequencing them with the switchback so that they go on/off in between blinks or something?

Also: I am really not happy with the way the lights are wired. Both headlights have a sea of t-taps behind them to power the switchbacks, trigger the ballasts for the HIDs and the like. The way it is setup would be ok for a street truck but just seems to be asking for trouble in an offroad rig. I have already removed a ton of other t-taps that the previous owner used to hook up all sorts of accessories. I wire things for a living (not cars) and have a touch of OCD so...

Are there male sockets with the same pinout as the OEM lights (headlight, blinker and DRL) available anywhere? Be nice to make these into a nice tidy plugged in setup and still retain the ability to put the factory headlights back in if need be.

Pic for reference. Thanks and Merry Christmas.
