    265/70/17 BFG RT's, FJ 17" rims with 1.25" spidertraxx Debadged, HID's, URD short shifter, Bilstein 5100's in the front, TSB and 1" block rear, URD TCAI with maf calibrator, JBL long tubes, DT Y pipe, Gibson exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump, Pioneer stereo, Bak flip G2 tonneau, TRD skid plate, MB Quarts all around with dynomat, Viper Alarm with motion sensor
    I currently have 5100's set at the highest with the stock TRD off-road springs. I'm running 265/70/17 BFG Rugged-Terrain's on spidertraxx wheel spacers. I currently rub while turning and going into a driveway or hitting a bump. I hardly off-road and want just a little more lift to maybe be able to get 275/70/17's with the spidertraxx and no rubbing. I have a 4x4 but would like just a little more lift. Any inexpensive suggestions would be appreciated.

    The 1/4" Toytec spacers would give you about another 1/2". Without going to a drop bracket lift 3" is about max for 4x4's due to your CV axles being put at bad angle.

    put 885x coils up front and go with a sping pack in the back and you would have about 3 inches

    Your rubbing is due to the wheel spacers, not lift height. I don't see why that is hard for people to understand. You pushed the tires further away from the rotation point (ball joints), increasing the scrub radius. When you turn the wheel, the tire is moved further forward and back in the wheel well. Which is why the tires rub when turned and compressed.

    I'm thinking your idea of the 1/4" spacer is probably the most inexpensive. I can get them for both sides and I'll probably get some UCA's. Not sure if I need them but I like the way they look especially camburg and total chaos.

    True, once you get to 3" more than likely youll need uca's.

    I was thinking the aftermarket UCA's couldn't hurt and I really don't like seeing my stock UCA's whenever I walk up to my truck.

    Everyones truck is a little different. I have 265/75r16s and I rub my cab mounts like a bitch even with the same lift, but that's because I have no sway bar, and a set of LR UCAs. 95% of people wouldn't, but some do because of their setup/alignment.

    When I was on 265/75/16 All-terrains I never rubbed, even while wheels are turned and I would go up a driveway hard. When I swithced to 265/70/17 Rugged-Terrains, I could pull in to a driveway at medium speed and I rub. From the tire size calculator, it says they are same size overall.

    I would look at a 1 inch body lift. They are pretty cheap.

    I think I'll try the toytec 1/4 " spacer in front and maybe a 1 1/2" block in rear. I already have a rear 1" block would like to keep the same state I currently have. I think that's considered a body lift. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    What your talking about is suspension. A body lift is spacers that go between the body & frame on all the body mounts.

    Pretty cheap if you do it yourself, I got a friend with a 3" body lift & with installation he paid almost a grand.:crazy::eek:
    He also had to do a lot of work so it wouldn't look bad like most body lifts do.

    Complete OME lift with Dakar leafs.
    A 1" body LIFT IMO would be a little bit cheaper than longer travel suspension. Too much body lift and you need filler panels so it doesn't look awful and can be a lot more work. I was just saying that he already upgraded the suspension a little. If money isn't a big deal I'd just go for a long travel kit and be done. I agree, if you can't do the work yourself or with some help, it's going to be expensive no matter what you do.

    Yeah that's true when you have to pay someone to do the work it's never cheap. Haha
    I believe a body lift will be more expensive than two 1/4" spacers & blocks.

    1tacoplease never said how much more lift he wanted, if he wants more than 3" total the your idea would be the way to go to keep it cheap. It would be a body lift or a DB lift which would be pretty expensive.

    I want inexpensive. Just a little more lift and keeping the same stance/rake that I have but if I could get a large lift for same price as spacers and blocks, I would consider it. I also heard long travel kits for 4x4's are ridiculously expensive, plus I hardly go off-road.
