Stock is a manifold and not a header so its aftermarket unless it is stamped on somewhere it will be hard to tell the brand.

    Those are definitely aftermarket.

Manufacturers of 1grfe headers were probably

    Doug thorley
    Jba
    Urd
    aFE (maybe)
...and maybe some ebay made-in-china header.

All the major brands (DT, jba, aFE) would probably have their branding on it (tag or badge).

Based on the finish of your headers, I would be inclined to say ebay headers.

Do you have primary cats still? Or more photos from underneath?

I’m betting eBay headers myself. I haven’t found a name anywhere on them yet. Cats are still on there for now, but I plan on removing them. I don’t require inspection and if I drive around the pastures hunting with these I’ll light it on fire lol.

you’re going to feel the power loss that’s for sure if you go back to stock. Why remove them?

Huh, think they’re URD, well that’s cool. My HP tuner comes in Wednesday so I’m looking forward to that. I’m not going to remove the headers. Taking about removing the cats. Might opt for the Doug Thole Y pipe. Comes with some resonators and looks like it tucks up tight, no cats and should be much cooler.

    here is the other side:

Look into URD Offroad Ypipe or SubZero equal length y pipe. Doug Thorley Ypipe will cause more rasp due to unnecessary u bend on the driver side pipe.

I recommend the URD y pipe and there’s two different equal length headers that are in the Performance section of the forum. Can’t remember the name of them.

I’m currently running URD headers with URD SPEC-U exhaust/y-pipe.

I saw the URD and looked at the Subzero and they are both really nice pieces, but am I giving up ground clearance because the way they are routed, it looks like they go under the transmission instead of around the back of the T-case. Also, I kinda like the idea of the resonators to lesson the resonance or drone of the exhaust and make it quieter. Thoughts? Maybe just a really overkill muffler will suffice for noise control?

If you have the coins to splurge, I'd consider a URD Spec U Exhaust.

Ok that photo is a lot different than what I was seeing on their website. That’s pretty much exactly what I’m looking for. Wouldn’t mind if it was a bit quieter, but at low rpm’s I’m sure it’s ok and it sounds great. Thanks for the help, that’s the direction I’m gonna go

Just for clarification, the photo is of a URD Spec-U Exhaust System, not the URD Offroad Y-Pipe.
