So I jumped the gun and tore my dash apart early this week and am putting it back together today and just cannot figure out where this connector goes. Any ideas?

Probably plugs into the one thing that doesn't work right now.

I have accounted for the OEM switch connections as well as the three I have added and the little night-light connection. I'm baffled. Toyota usually tapes up loose connections so this must be something. The illusive vibrating passenger seat perhaps?

I thought that at first but that one is all white and runs back toward the arm rest.

I pulled the HVAC panel above to make sure I hadn't pulled a plug from there while I was fat-fingering the rest but no, not from above.

Now that I look at the back of the lower switch housing I see three or four dummy sockets below the switches. I think it may have come from there.
Maybe an option the Base TRD Sport AC MT doesn't get... not sure why it would be plugged into a dummy socket unless this is something that can be installed by the dealer (whatever it is) and it's close to the hole so they can fish it and not tear the hole dash apart.

If the auto has an illuminated gear selector it might be for that. Since yours is a manual it would not be needed. All the Toyota I have worked which had plugs not used were left as is unless the circuit required a loop.
