Hi Folks, Ive been eye balling a Taco for quite some time and thinking of pulling the trigger on a used one. Noticed a sticker on dash that stays ready lift. Photos are from dealers site. Trying to get a photo of the suspension for better evaluation. Looks like the truck was from a lease. Can anyone tell if this thing is lifted and if so is this a bad/good one. Im pretty indifferent on having a lifted truck. Mostly going to be a daily driver/ ski/ bike hauler.

Well since zip is visible inside the wheel wells, it's pretty difficult to say anything. Definitely lifted and hopefully properly, as it looks to be a 3 inch lift. Most trucks need aftermarket UCA's with that height.

Could any damage be done to the truck with this kind of lift in 29,000 miles. Im assuming this is probably a 3" spacer lift. I plan on bringing her back to stock or maybe a 1" spacer lift.

Maybe if it wasn't aligned properly after lift can cause issues.

Without new UCA’s, isn’t that much lift going to cause stressing of the ball joints?

Ready lift 3/1" spacer lift. Nothing special.

My lease had a similar lift. 200$ got me big like I wanted haha.

The picture suggests that the truck has increased ride height. You can easily compare it to pictures of stock trucks. A google of "ready lift" suggests they sell spacer lifts and drop bracket lifts. The ride height in the picture suggests the truck does not have a drop bracket lift. Beyond that, it's not easy to answer any of your questions. Have a professional inspect the truck if you want to know more about its condition. A lift isn't a death sentence, albeit if you don't want a lifted truck, then why buy one?

Ya that’s lifted. Use it as a negotiating tool. Spend the money on some 5100s or drive it like it is if you like.

I don't know much about lifts etc. But I was Surfing on quite a few threads here and saw abut the stressing of the ball joints and was concerned, Can anyone ease these?

Im neutral towards a lift, I really just love the way the cement ORs look and I seem to be having trouble finding one in my area. And I have Tacoma fever...

I have a 2020 cement 6MT OR with a 2" lift, 33" tires, and 10k miles that looks a lot like that one and I'm happy.
