    good advice.

but, ever been in a situation where "a little" elbow grease wasn't, in reality, actually a very large amount (whole afternoon) of fucking elbow grease.

All that plastic trim on the bumper is cheap, wait till you spill paint on it the next time and get it changed!

I'd try CitrusStrip for a less invasive chemical approach. As always, test a small area first.

did this with oil based paint what a disaster that was! preasure wsh off everything you can then wipe down the area with some reducer and dust it with some satin black spray paint. looks good as new. with it being latex you may want to try a little brake clean on it that usually gets rid of latex. the manager of the detail shop at the dealership told me with the beds being composite solvents will turn it gray sso you'll end up spraying with a little paint anyway

I agree with @Ahshiet . Recently ran through a 5 gallon bucket of paint spilled on the road. It was alllll over the black plastic trim and wheel wells. WD40 and a microfiber and it rubbed right off. Also, the wife ran through new road paint. It was in the same places on her car. Same WD40 and microfiber and a little elbow grease got that off too.

That shit should buff out... acetone for the win (test small area first).

If you need a new one I have plate bumper and that piece is still in my garage. Make me an offer.

Not unless you want a crappy finish that is very obvious.

I'd try removing the bumper, then removing the painted plastics so you have them separated.

I'd try paint solvent on the raw plastic. It wont damage it since it's just plastic and not painted.
That's why I'd remove the bumper. Just in case you spill some all over the place like you allready did.... LOL
    Sorry...that's not funny.

    But yeah...that's my idea.

on the painted parts, I'd try buffing.

Im thinking the same thing, remove the plastic black top and paint it. If it was me I would probably paint it that spray bedliner just to make it look a little more aggressive, but that's me.
