    ...too much shit to list.
I just realized my wording was confusing. I was referring to stay the trail offenders, not your soapbox post. We have had members that dumb.

Same with here on Guam. If you're not passing through private property, pretty much anything is fair game. But I agree and stand behind "tread lightly" in the states. Much more landscape and wildlife to be preserved there.

Not like that in hawaii. Not many places to legally wheel. You get cited quick by department of land and natural resources. Fragile eco system here. Can't even drive on the beach legally anywhere in Hawaii.

Everyone posts to instagram these days and tags the location/trail name right? That's where I'd start if I was trying to find the guy.

Is this bad, yeah maybe, is it worth lynching the kid, no. Trails get shut down because people don't fight in big enough numbers to keep them open. BS politics, and the insane left will never give up.

Look at the Bullshit bridge they put in at Ellis Creek on the Rubicon. The building of the bridge caused 10 times the destruction 4-Wheelers will ever cause to the trail. The Bridge was a bullshit move to permanently shut down the trail because they thought they would never get the funding to build it.

I'd rather see that kid wheel than a bunch of hipsters spray paint the rocks like they did at Moonrocks.

    Here's a thread about it.

That being said, I always stay on the trail, and do my research before hitting any trail.

A small handful of select mods.
I can count 3 trails where this is happening now. All above timber line. From what I have seen its uneducated or unaware drivers that just don't want to drive over the rocks. And it comes from all types of vehicles. We just had another incident with a group of Subarus that were posting on FB pictures of their trip. They were way off trail near a cliff "just so they could get a cool photo." SMH.

I think everyone is over reacting to what this guy was doing in the alpine meadow, we all think he was 4 wheeling, by the way he's straddling that ditch, maybe he just changing his oil. He's obviously standing over there waiting because he has a fumoto valve.

    Also, yes.

One person won't destroy the wilderness. But ask any Coloradan who has been here longer than 15 years. It's way too crowded here. So it will never be just one person. If we don't have these rules in place, this beautiful state will go down the toilet faster than it already is.

The instant that poster started reinforcing unfriendly factions/divisions between Jeep owners and Toyota owners he proved himself only slightly less of an idiot than the guy in the pics.

Yes, I agree that one person can't destroy a wilderness and also agree there are rules for a reason... BELIEVE ME on that one (hint hint, HAM use... anyways). I was just simply wondering how the trails were created from the start? Some one didn't "tread lightly" at some point to begin with? My answer has been answered and now I'm that much more educated!!!:fistbump:

Anyways, yeah, I totally understand and agree with you and Colorado is, most definitely, a beautiful state for sure!!! But BRO, going UP through the mountain pass is F'N BRUTAL!!!:goingcrazy: LMAO!!!:laugh::rofl: Back in 2009, my family and I had to go to Iowa for family reasons and we were crammed in my Civic ALL LOADED DOWN and that thing was STRUGGLING HARD as we got higher and higher!!!:( Our first time experiencing something like that and our mom is disabled. My first thoughts was to get my mom to safety and here we were at a rest stop, in the middle of the mountains, and still about 11-20mi outside of Golden (i.e. the next nearest city). My concern was to NOT be near a hospital was my biggest worry!!! Believe me that I was STRESSING OUT HARD, but kept a calm cool head about it. In 2013, we had to go back, but this time we took the "Southern route" (i.e. flatter land).

Anyways, sorry for off topic, but that shi* was an experience for sure!!! Again, just saying that I'm that much more educated and learn from my mistakes/ignorance/experiences!!!:fistbump::cheers::bowdown:
