Ok which one of you 2nd Gens was this.. Just ruin a trail and will possibly be closed now..

I hope the owner is on TW. I'd love to hear the excuses to try and justify that.

Well they did tell him his truck was an Off Road.

 

I don't get the bit about driving in creeks, especially those that drive down them as opposed to simply crossing them. Either is incredibly destructive. Driving in creeks should be avoided wherever and whenever possible. Yet on this site people post pictures of themselves doing just that, as though it is a huge accomplishment. It's not. It's environmentally insulting. The driver who is the subject of this thread, driving through alpine meadows, is at a minimum insensitive and/or ignorant or maybe just plain stupid. But to intentionally drive up a creek in Kentucky (or wherever) is equally mindless. No good reason we can't have a good time out there and do no harm in the process.

 

Based on the name of the FB page, SW Colorado... If I see him, I'll be sure to bust a couple tail lights...

With any luck he rolled it off the steps all the way down to Telluride. What a douche canoe.

As a relative off roading noob, I do my research, learn the rules of where I go before I even plan a trip to a trail. Willful ignorance isn't an excuse. He deserves to be ripped into.
