I thought so, saw thats how you can do some sick slide/donuts by locking it up in snow.

Yeah you probably can, if you look on your driver side door at the warning sticker it actually says don't go over 5MPH with the rear locker turned on though :/

There's a cheat sheet card on your drivers visor. Read it and follow the directions. As for crawl control when you change the knob your dash screen tells you what each mode is. Just make sure when you shift into high or low 4x4 that the light is solid and not flashing when you need 4x4. If its still flashing your not all the way into gear in the transfer case. So dont get into rough stuff until you get fully into gear.

Went into the swamp this morning with the dog doing some hunting and tested out some of these controls. They work well enough. Like most things, it takes some practice to get used to. I didn't turn MTS up to the rocks setting because I was mostly in mud or water. But it chugged right through the stuff pretty well for me. I could have probably pushed through it without the MTS turned on, but this made it kind of "look ma', no hands...".

Also, I didn't enjoy the Crawl Control on a flat muddy or dirt surface. Definitely for situations where you are actually trying to crawl up a rocky area. Or if your trying to auto-pilot the parking blocks at the mall.

I like that the Off-Road Tacomas have different levels of "help". If not 2wd, then Auto LSD, then 4WD Hi & Lo, then rear locker, MTS, and crawl control. Unless I'm imagining things, I've used the rear locker with MTS and crawl control too.

From my readings, it sounds like the MTS can serve as a middle ground between open and locked diffs. Which is good for the front wheels, since there's no locker.

The locker has helped me out in more than one instance in the couple months of wheeling. Only used Crawl Control for testing.
