I replaced my battery earlier today because it is four years old and not holding a charge. Now it is idling rough to the point of stalling out when you brake at stops. Alternator putting out 13.5 vdc and it is not throwing any codes. Any suggestions appreciated.

Some of the settings have been reset by the battery replacement. Once you put some more miles on the truck it will act normal again.

Often if you just rev it to 1500 rpms and hold it there for a minute or so, it will behave normally again.

ECU was reset when the battery was removed. Drive it a bit and it will straighten out.
