Obviously this is what's causing the lean codes and rough idle right?

Nope.. OEM original. Was messing around with the v8 throttle body for a while but decided to throw the stock one back in.

The p2111 is saying that the throttle plate is being commanded to close tighter and tighter but the idle never comes down. It's the pcm trying to tell you there is a big source of air coming from somewhere that it can't see. Keep looking for a vacuum leak

How about when the idle drops to under 500-550?

After exchanging messages with Key-Rei (Kyle)... He pointed out that he had a similar lean code problem to mine. The random throttle accelerations and decelerations had happened ever since engine swap. But the lean codes only started appearing maybe a month or two after new intake install. So it happens that I've installed a 3.5" MAF sensor piping. The MAF sits about a half inch above/outside the pipe. This means that pretty much the whole sensor is sitting in about 60% total of the pipe. This leads to the MAF sensor missing QTY of total air being sucked in. Then when all this hits the o2/fuel ratio sensors, they read excessive air, thus tripping the lean codes. CPU thinks there is X amount of air, so it injects X amount of fuel. So this is pretty much Y amount of air + X amount of fuel right?

    What do ya'll think? Lol

I think I've been suggesting to use a torque wrench and tighten to factory spec, and then asking if you did this. Correct tightening is critical to sealing.

Tighten what? I tightened everything with a 1/2 inch drive snap-on torque wrench lmao.

    Update:

Still getting codes P2111, P0102 along with two lean codes for bank one and two.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

Smoked it twice. Through brake booster line and dip stick. No smoke found.

I have the same p0171 and p0174 after the dealership replaced my frame for the rust warranty last week...

truck went in clean and came out with CEL, so they're going to have to look at it.

I ran through and checked pretty much everything posted here except I don't have a rough idle and watching my short/long fuel trims while driving are fine...when i'm stopped or idle the lean will trip.

    fun stuff...

Hey Lazevedo, did you ever get your problem solved? I'm running in to a similar issue with a '99 3.4, idle just appears to be all over the place and very inconstant.
