I have a 2008 tacoma 2.7 with a 5 speed .. two days this problem showed up suddenly, after I disconnected the battery and connected it i started the car the rpm is idling around 400-500 and sometimes I need to push the throttle pedal while starting the car otherwise it will start and immediately will die, even when I am driving the car once i press the clutch the rpm will drop to 500 and it happened one time that the car turned off after the rpm drops.
While driving the car i have no issues even the throttle response is perfect the only issue is the idle I tried and cleaned the MAF sensor and the throttle sensor and disconnect the battery but nothing changed i know many of u have faced this issue so please if anyone can help i really appreciate that

Did you clean the throttle body?

Thank u for the reply This time actually no but few months earlier I did clean and if was not that much dirt, do u think a dirty throttle will cause idle issue in that way? Or is it related to sensors

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Pop the #4 coil out (because it’s easiest to get to). The tip should be dry. If it’s wet with oil, you need new spark plug tube gaskets. Good luck!

90% of the time a low idle especially after a battery disconnect is a dirty throttle body, throttle body cleaning is almost always the first thing I do for a low idle/stalling complaint.

    UPDATE the problem is solved

Thanks that exactly what it was! I cleaned the throttle body + intake manifold ( without removing only what my hands could access) and now its working perfectly the idling is perfect
