I just bought a 2023 Tacoma TRD with 18000 km on it from a Toyota Dealership in B.C. I have noticed it idles a little rough at times at a stop.... not really rough but it is noticeable. Then there are times when it is fine.
Is anyone else experiencing this and/or have some advice or solutions? Would be greatly appreciated

on mine i noticed the idle speed varies slightly but it is not rough idling. if you do a lot of town or city driving (short trips), i would recommend taking it on a highway, and running it at the speed limit for a couple hundred miles round trip.

otherwise, if it seems to recur and is indeed rough idling, take it to a dealer and have them look at it.

You can clean the throttle body pretty easy.

My 2023 started it at about 7,000 miles and mainly did it when I was at a stop light with ac on. I noticed when the compressor cycled on I could feel a vibration through the steering wheel. I had no luck at the dealer and mine finally stopped around 15,000 now it’s smooth as glass. I use 93 octane every fill up and never top off stop at first click full. The 3.5 seems to be very gas sensitive so use top tier 93 octane and again never top off stop at first click.

I have read that some 3.5 engines came from the factory with loose spark plugs so if none of the above helps check them.
