It's a tad far could use the 50 bucks I would use for gas towards the tires. Found a set down there in the oc for 250. Got 2k miles on them and came off of an OR. right price and beat what I got. I will make it out the eventually. Looking for beginner trails.

That's my eta-ish too. Leaving hacienda heights around 6:30-7pm and google maps say 1.5 hour drive, probably worse on Friday.

Let's caravan at the meet spot to the campground? Would the meet spot be what Greg posted earlier?

I have 3 brand new P rated Duratracs and 2 Duratracs in 265/65/17 if you're interested. 500 bucks. If you're not too hard on tires they will work. Only an option. They are p rated but used them on trails like burns canyon:

If you shoot up the trail, go until you find a big water crossing with a sign that says not to go through the big fun puddle, drive a little further and it'll be on the right.

It's a good thing I read this. I've been lagging on installing my diff breather relocation. Looks like I'll be doing it before then.

Out of 7 rigs last weekend I was the only one that took this route. As you know your maxtrac spindle lift and beef tires did it fine in 2wd. The others except Ron were 4wd and didn't wanna try. I think they didn't want any of my crappy spotting. I was sad. Lol.

You can't go through that mini pond anymore. Not legally at least.

I remember that sign from the last time we were up there, when we climbed the stairs.
