    Just a friendly reminder atleast in california......if u were on a 5150 hold for up to 3 days, u cant have guns for 5yrs as u know.........the paper u sign however may not list magazines, or ammunition...... well, the doj will give u a shiny new set of bracelets for ammunition or mags. My neighbor got popped.

    Just so everyone understands 5150 a bit better:

    "Section 5150 is a section of the California Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) which authorizes a qualified officer or clinician to involuntarily confine a person suspected to have a mental disorder that makes him or her a danger to him- or herself, a danger to others, and/or gravely disabled. A qualified officer, which includes any California peace officer, as well as any specifically designated county clinician, can request the confinement after signing a written declaration."
