The back of my platinum f150 was very nice and big. For me and a family it would be a no brainer getting a full size. However, I don't have kids so I don't need a big truck I just enjoyed it

I'm trying to sell my wife on the "We need a CPO Ford Raptor" and she doesn't yet hate the idea!

Up to what age? I have already made my decision but i was under the impression car seats get bigger as kids grow and the A/C becomes too small very quick

Depends on the kiddo - I went from the basket style to a 3 in one (the largest) then back to boosters (taking a lot less space). But we also were no-stroller folks who mostly carried them or had them walk. YMMV, there's a thread somewhere.

YMMV ... we've had two kids from birth in our DCSB.

How about an 85lb Golden retriever? He's the one that takes up all the space back there already.:)

Toyotas. We have had many, mostly 4R's, 6 of them since 2008, plenty of Gen 1's, 2 Gen 2's, and now a '21 TRD-4X4, and our '04 Taco is a family member, just turned 190K on the odo, 3400, runs like new, all maintenance up to date.
This new Tacoma took about 3 months from deposit to delivery, just like we wanted. Also throw in 2 Camry SLE convertibles, (wife stuff).

Value, ROI ? What is the answer when a used one, in great condition, can sell for more then a new one ? We just received more for our '18 4R-4X4 with 32K on the odo, then what we paid for it in April 2018. Now, this '21 Tacoma, is like driving a cashiers check. Put 12K miles on it in one year, I can go back to something else with a fat trade value in hand.
With GM tied to the hip with China, and Dodge, Chrysler products owned by Fiat, buying a Toyota puts plenty of Americans to work, just look at how many production plants and support distribution centers for Toyota are in the USA.

    I had a 2017 SR 4X4 and miss it.
I sold it to buy a new Ford Bronco, and the Bronco looks like it'll be a couple years out with the options I want, and I honestly was a tad disappointed when I test drove one.
So right now my plan is to order a 2022 TRD Off-Road in January or so.

Does that mean you bought the Bronco still after test driving it.

No, I still have a reservation/order for one that I haven't canceled, but I haven't bought anything yet. I'm still driving my clapped out Subaru Forester for now.

Take a look @ YouTube and check out all the comparison videos of Taco vs ???. Only thing they can dish the Taco for is the tire choice, while other brands rock Duratracs, K02, etc..., the Taco has Kevlar "Highway tires".

TRD Off Road for the Win! (with tire upgrade)

In 2010 I bought a 2008 4runner Ltd. I drove that until 2015 when I bought a 2011 Tacoma Sport. I loved that truck as it was a lot of fun to drive. I started driving a lot of hwy so decided to buy a new 2018 Tundra Offroad for the power and towing. I like my Tundra but it's not a Tacoma ! Now I'm selling my Tundra for more than I paid in 2018 because the used prices are crazy and I ordered a new 2021 Tacoma sport manual as thats all I could get but still paid $1500 under retail. It won't be here until mid Oct but I can't wait ! I've never driven a manual Tacoma but imagine it will be even more fun to drive than my old one ! Come on Oct ! Lol

I just bought mine a few weeks ago, but the decision was many years in the making. I wanted a MT, so there really wasn't a choice. I wanted a small truck that can hit the trails and I'm very happy. If Chevy made a Colorado ZR2 with a MT for the diesel, that would have been a tough call. The crazy aftermarket for these trucks is a huge bonus.

Absolutely love my Taco for the time that I've had it. Looking back I would probably get a full-size truck to accommodate for unfroseen lifestyle changes (work, family, etc.).
