He got an offer he couldn’t refuse and banked a little coin with your car. Or he showed off and wrecked it.
I’m betting on #1; but either is a pile of #2…

i purchased a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek back in 2020 after wrecking my 04 Accord(amazing little car) and had buyers remorse for probably a few weeks before i learned to love it

fast forward to last month when i bought my 2021 TRD OR and i have had a smile on my face every time i even look at the truck over the last 3 weeks, not an ounce of any remorse

less than 1 full month of ownership at this point but i would 100% make the same decision again if given the chance

Same on the Crosstrek. I had a '21 for 7 months.

Just felt cheap among many other things. Decent mpgs but the trade off was that stupid cvt transmission. I feel like even if I had the 2.5 sport, I still would not have been happy.

10/10 wish I got a Tacoma after my deployment and not the WRX that I did.

My only regret with my current Taco is I'm kicking myself for not getting a TRD OR and settling on a SR5. =\

I would definitely buy another Tacoma, BUT i would get a 2nd gen instead. I regret selling my 2nd gen, it was better than my current 3rd gen in every way

You coud easily make that happen. Plenty of 2nd gens out there for you to trade down to. And get some money back. I say do it.

If i kept the 3rd gen stock i definitely would but I'm too far into it. Too much money and time spent on it to start over. Unless i could trade it for a 2nd gen that's equally modded

I get it. Modded for modded, might work, but hard to find one in the shape you may want.

Hopefully the 4th gen Tacoma will be what we all been asking for because this 3rd gen was a total flop

Well, it isn't for me. I actually like it and consider it better than the 2nd gen in many ways, not to mention the actual improvements toyota made. If you put all gens in front of me, the 3rd gen would be the no brainer winner.

I would absolutely buy another Tacoma. I have no experience with 1st or 2nd Gen Tacos, but my truck has been flawless so far, so I would buy whatever gen is current if I needed to buy [brand new] again at some point.

I would love to also have another full sized Dodge Cummins, but I can't justify the cost right now, and I have heard they stopped offering the manual transmission in 2018 or 2019, so I would have to do some searching for a used one even if I did decide to get another one. I had a 2001 Cummins from brand new until I sold it in 2015 due to difficult financial circumstances at that time. That will always be one of my biggest regrets - that I was faced with having to make that choice.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Somewhat related question (okay, a bit of a stretch)...

Do we know what the last model year for Gen3s will be? '23?

This is the best time to sell. You will get more now than ever before. You should sell it if you hate it that much. I would not keep any vehicle I hated, no matter what. That would be like being married to Rosie O'donnell

I probably would not buy a Taco again for no other reason than it just isn't the value it once was. My local dealer has a '22 OR MT for $38,083 which would be considered, but probably not.

Too many options out there and if anything, I'd probably skip to a full size given my usage.

I tried selling but the best offer I got was 44k which is what I paid for it new but what about the mods....? So its 100% my fault for being gullible idiot for thinking its an off road worthy dependable truck believing others and not doing my own research. I'm an idiot

Well, mods add no value, so jot that down.
