I got trick trucks to do it for me. they gave me an offer i couldnt refuse. With a little persuasion from me. $80 on ebay for the muffler, $30 for the installation. I figured that wasnt bad at all.

Okay so I got a super 40 flowmaster muffler. I had it installed for $30. I went ahead and got my windows tinted to 20% for $50. So all in all for the AFE S pro Dry drop in filter, The muffler, installation and tint for a grand total of $220. Not too bad. I was expecting it to be a little more.

The truck is loud now. The Cab noise is pretty loud when i accelerate quickly. but i like it. People who ride with me might not though. Hehehe.

I drove about an hour and a half tonight and when arrived at my destination there was a slight burning odor. Have you experienced this? I read on the box that before you install the muffler you are supposed to install a heat shield. What is that exactly and is it necessary? Thanks!

dang dude if i read this post sooner i would have told you to go to tony's custom exhaust in glen burnie MD. I got the same truck as you but access cab. The exhaust was the first mod i got done, flowmaster 40's with dual pipes coming out the back at a 45 degree angle. cost 330, but for custom work that is good.

Thanks just got a little worried there. I love the way it purrs when I first start it up. I am still waiting on the drop in filter They were back ordered should have them shipping this week hopefully. They said by wednesday. They should be here by early next week. I got about 200 miles on the top half tank of gas. 87 from shell. driving at speeds at and above 70 MPH. never really measured what i was getting before. Seems alright to me. When I had my 91 Camry it got 200 miles to an entire tank, But that tank was only 15 gallons.
