If I go back to stock....

Just mounted some FJ cruiser wheels I bought off CL and they look awesome

I'm now debating selling my 17" sport rims, so this question is more for those who have sold their wheels before. The plan is to keep my taco for the next 7+ yrs, but would I be forced to part out/go back to stock if traded in sooner? Is it better to sell my old rim or hold on?

 

depends on if you were going to sell it with the FJ wheels. I wouldnt worry to much since the FJ wheel are Toyota stuff.

 

Most dealers will take trucks in with modifications, at least here anyways. When I got my taco I traded in a lifted jeep on 35" and told the dealer give me an extra $2k or I would take them off and they did.

 

hmm, didn't think of that. good point with the oem wheels
