Started out with a 2002 Single cab, then to an FJ. really liked having a truck / SUV. Something happened though. I have always loved Challengers with a passion. Found a BEAUTIFUL black RT Classic and traded in the FJ. The FJ was my daily driver and now the Challenger replaced it as my daily. Problem with that was I live in SLC where we get tons of Snow. Also my wife had a piece of crap Mazda 3 that she needed out of. so traded in my Challenger for a 2004 Tacoma TRD for me and a Rav 4 for her.
I really missed all the cool features the Challenger had, and how freaking fast it was! I wasn't really in love with my 04 Tacoma which made me sad. After a while I considered trading in the 04 for an AWD Charger. by this time I had my daughter so I knew a 2 door car just wouldn't be enough. The AWD Charger seemed to have it all. Interior was just like the challenger, and same with the engine. it was just 4 doors which was EXACTLY what I needed. I was REALLY close to getting an AWD RT Charger. They were so rare and every time I would go test driver one they would have sold a few hours earlier. would always point out base V6 AWD instead. Any way. I have always loved Toyotas and originally fell in love with the 2nd Gens, so I figured, maybe I will check out a 2nd Gen with some upgraded feature. Even checked some 3rd gens too which had beautiful interiors, but I just liked the body of the 12-15 2nd gens so much more Found my truck that I am in now and am absolutely in love with it. Do not regret getting an updated Tacoma over a Charger.

Having said all that, If Tacoma Never existed and I needed a vehicle that suited me and my needs as a family man, I would be in a Charger RT AWD with red interior leather just like my Challenger. If I was single and Rich, I'd have a Hellcat Challenger in a heart beat.

I am interesting in purchasing a 2019 Ford F-150 Diesel. Want to see how it does and the 10 speed Transmission.

Ford hands down if my Taco goes.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I honestly don't know if Tacoma's weren't around. Had a 2003 nissan frontier SC which I loved and drive a new 16 frontier which drives really well, but they are ugly now. Not a GM fan and not really into full size and can't afford a loaded Raptor...:notsure:
