I had actually really wanted a Jeep Wrangler/Rubicon. Just something with a short wheel base that would get me places and enough 4wd capability that I didn't have to worry about getting stuck (unless I did something super dumb or went somewhere I had no business going). I guess if I had to pick, it'd be the 4 door Rubicon just so I had extra storage room to pile stuff on the back seat. Although I guess if I could get my hands on one, a Jeep Brute or something along that line would be pretty cool.

If not a Tacoma? Tough question. I have a 2016 Ford Superduty with a power stroke that is so much more roomier and comfortable, can haul or tow stuff the Tacoma can't move yet it is not as practical for me to drive it everyday. Wear items and maintenance cost too much to just drive it around, even empty. Not so with the Tacoma, even though empty they get around the same mileage, still dumbfounded over that, the Tacoma doesn't cost much per mile to operate, works for a commuter dailey driver, still can haul and tow stuff with in reason and serve as a truck which I need everyday, even get to places on my property that big trucks just can't. It doesn't do anything the best, it just does so much well that I can't seem to not keep one around. Now only speaking about a manual shift long bed 4x4 Tacoma, you couldn't give me one with an automatic, or short bed, and when they stop making them with a stick I'll have bought my last one. I almost didn't buy this one because I wanted a 4 door long bed stick and they don't make one like that. Retarded. When and if I ever do retire I'll keep a Superduty only because If I could only have one it would have to be it. Question answered. The amount of power and instant torque on tap is addicting and I will always need a pickup truck. Maybe get a Cayenne too for runnin around, or a 911 GT3 or a Mustang GT500 or a Aston Martin DB10 or build a muscle car or....probably just tool around in an old diesel pickup truck.

If not my Tacoma, a new 4 door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. In fact, that was on my short list but I need to be able to haul things from time to time and I just like Toyotas.
I had a 98 T-100 before this and I sold it to my brother with 265,000 miles on it, still running strong.

Easy, '06 Tundra Double Cab. It was that or my Tacoma when I was shopping. I was having a hard time finding a lower mileage Tundra, plus I fell for the Tacomas fresher looks and the way it drove.
