I’d either still have my Stage 2 WRX or buy a Subaru Baja and lift it to make it more like a truck. I’m weird, I know. Separately, I saw someone say a Hilux, I’d buy one of those in a heartbeat if we were allowed to have em in the states. Tacoma/Hilux are the best trucks in the world, which is why I bought one

I probably wouldn’t go so far as to say they suck, but they are pretty large. FIL has a new one and compared to my old 3G4R, the thing is a boat. Still a nice ride tho

Probably a Colorado/Canyon Duramax or an F150. Given my trust issues with GM after my last vehicle and others in our family, it would probably be the latter.

We love our 2019 4Runner. Why does it suck, in your opinion?

To be fair, that's the trend with all vehicles these days. One of the first things they talked about with the 2015 Colorado was how big it was and one video even compared it side-by-side with a 1980's Ford F350. Same could be said for the 3rd gen Tacoma, especially vs the 1st gen. We love our 5th gen 4Runner although we use our Tacoma far more.

If the Toyota Tacoma didn't exist and I had to pick another truck...

    Probably the new Nissan Tacoma.
    If I decided that a bed wasn't necessary...Ford Bronco

I looked at the Charger RT and Tacoma back in ‘17, decided on Tacoma for practical reasons and reliability-hated this truck after first week of driving it, 50k later still hate it- driveability sucks. Thankfully I’m on two wheels 5-6 months out of the year.

The Frontier Pro4x is what I was after when I got the taco, so it definitely would have been that
