What would it be? Rolling into a quality stereo shop for a good system and install. Requirements are simple, AM-FM with blue tooth and Head unit w/ touch screen . Speakers to use existing holes. System goes in a 05' Pre-Runner.

    What are some good options?

considering every audio shop i've ever been to has refused to pay more than $2 above minimum wage, i don't consider any of them 'professionals', more just stubborn fast food window attendants with a wrench. as a result, i expect the same installation quality and attention to detail that i get in my fast food meals...

otherwise, the question is overly broad, and every local audio shop has their own preference of gear and brand agreements. one will tell you the absolute best is hertz(not a diamond or kicker dealer), another one will sell you kicker cs(not a diamond dealer, but they sell hertz, but are used to penny-pinching high school kids looking for cheap upgrades, so don't even bother recommending anything higher end), and another will tell you diamond audio(not a hertz or kicker dealer) is the pinnacle of audio perfection.

start with a price goal for the parts, and then for a rough estimate on installation cost, double it.

also, try to get your hands on some head units, and play with the settings. is the display easy to read? are the settings where you expect them to be?

and lastly, the theoretical scenario. you're jamming out, and the light ahead turns red. you pull up to the light with the music on full blast, next to school bus, and the song changes from some good old rock to your old forgotten version of 2live crew, "pop that pussy" at full blast. can you turn it down in time, or do you get angry parents calling for your head in a guillotine by the time the kids get home that night?

...but 2Live Crew tracks (and the Miami bass scene) in that period, were the go-to music for bassheads!

Can't argue about the audio quality. But the lyric quality can be somewhat offensive to the majority of the population
