Had 1 of those too! gave 300$ for it, mudded and climbed for 3 days in it and sold it for 500$ to a buddy of mine on the 4th day. It was a piece! Think i even got it at same place i picked up the rabbit diesel. There were no jumpers in the back, hardly even any bed left due to rust.

If I was going with a midsize, probably the Frontier.

Fullsize, either a Tundra or a F150. Not much of a fan of the Chevy or Dodge offerings.

I'd love to say Hilux, but if there's not Tacoma, I wouldn't expect there to be a Hilux. But Hilux diesel for SURE.

Next up would be Tundras. 4 of them. One of the only reasons I didn't get one is parking in the city when I bought the Taco and MPG. I'd get one for regular use, audio etc. One for SAS and wheeling, one for long travel romping, and strangely enough, one turbo street slammed one with huge wheels just for shits, giggles, and putting a Yota on the map for that scene, Lightning SVT and SRT8 killer. Just because I know I could pull it off :)

I like the Cumminns but not the rest of the Dodge truck.
I'd take the F250 in aheartbeat IF it were a 01+ Powerstroke.
I'd take a 2500HD too if it were the right one.

but I would only really use those to tow my Evo :D

Obviously I didn't choose a tow truck or I wouldn't be on this forum.

Why 01+? You would want the 7.3 and frankly after mid 03, they stopped making the 7.3 :(

Oops I messed up. I meant 99+, mostly for the shallow reason that the previous generations are fugly to me, although the previous gen has grown on me a little. Also I *think* I remember reading that they have direct injection which is better for veggie oil diesel, something I would actually consider trying.

But if Toyota had never, ever put out a pickup (hard to even imagine) and I needed one, I would either be in the fronty or the f-150 turbo diesel depending on needs.

If the new power wagon came in a diesel, it would be a sweet rig. Solid axles, lockers front and rear, 9000 lb winch stock, electric sway bar disconnects and a 4:1 transfer case... cool stuff.
