    Recovery strap. Or Tow strap?

It has to be a strap, I feel a kinetic rope you definitely can't attempt to tow with (too stretchy) and it's too expensive to drag for miles.

Need one as I lost my other tow strap and I'm going to CO in Oct. I don't think jerking vehicles around up there is very wise either. I could be wrong but a slower, more controlled pull seems proper for up there.

Kinetic recovery strap for sure. I think you’re more likely to need a tug out of a tough spot than a tow to a mechanic that doesn’t require a real tow truck.

You can tow with a kinetic strap in a pinch but you shouldn’t recover with a tow strap

Get the ARB strap. It's like $60 free shipping from Headstrong.
