6BT, bulletproof, awesome hp/torque, decent mileage.

If I'm keeping it Toyota 1VD-FTV for same reasons above.

Actually it has 42 hp less.

Same here, I cruise around 1200-1500 rpms, plenty of power.

Either engine out or either of my vehicles, 2500hd 6.0 and six speed transmission. Or the VW’s 2L turbo diesel with 6 speed duel clutch transmission. One gets GREAT mileage, one doesn’t. One has lots of power and reliability. Take your pick. I’ll take the turbo diesel on the Tacoma.

    Whoops typo.

Yep, seems fairly punchy to me. Impressed it can be lugged around at such a low rpm.

Love Ducatti. Had a friend who had that exact bike modded and it was quick. I raced her in my modded 911 turbo and we were neck to neck to 120. So it was a quick bike.

But when it comes to sound, this is the king:

if I could afford any engine swap for my 3rd Gen Tacoma, then I can probably afford an Aircraft carrier...I'm going for the carrier! I hear the chow is top notch!

call me crazy, but as long as all the issues are worked out, i'd love the new tundra turbo hybrid. 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. yep.
