If You Could Put Anything into the Next Years Model of a Tacoma what would it be?

Curious... what would an off-road warranty cover?

To my knowledge, I know of one off-roader who's had his tacoma diffy replace twice under warranty after rock crawling incidents with big tires.

 

As far as I've heard, it covers basically any damage from normal to light offloading. Obviously hucking the truck or driving off a cliff probably isn't covered.

 

heated seats
winter package: heated mirrors/rear and side defroster
standard electrical outlet 'in the cab'
move the location of the current 12v outlets to the sides
more cup holders cause 13 is not enough
a real cup holder
key less entry via code panel like ford has


boxed frame
electric fan vs current belt powered fan

 

Rear locker available in the long bed from the factory! And heated mirrors.

 

Manual transfer case. Biggest selling factor to me IMHO.

A truck doesn't have to be a cave man, there isn't any reason why it couldn't have those things like a lot of us trucks do.

No man when i stopped the vehicle, put it in park, opened the door, exited the vehicle and walked away.

 

Without knowing the details, I'd tend to agree that's not a warranty failure. An owner should still expect to have an owner's responsibility. Having a warranty doesn't mean you can ignore your vehicle's welfare and everybody knows ta clean yer vehicle after mudding.

 

I remember doing one of these threads before...

I'll just say better mileage, more power and standardize on one platform. The entire line of Tacomas should have the same brakes, hubs, wheels, suspension, options, transmissions, engines, seats, etc. Also, make it a little smaller. People that want a bigger truck can buy a Tundra.
