Looking at all of these sweet builds, I started to get curious. If you guys (and gals) who have done a bunch of mods could start with a fresh truck, what would you do differently?

I would have gotten an TRD offroad, stupid open diff has been hell for me. and i wouldnt have farted with spacer lifts and would have went straight to the Icons, fox, or kings. Other than that im pretty happy with how i have done things.

The only thing about starting with a clean slate that is attractive to me is that it would have 0 miles instead of 90k. Otherwise, it'd just be a lot of work and money to get it to how it is now..........:D

I would have gotten an '09 TRD offroad w/ ATRAC. Although the open diff hasn't failed me yet, a locker would be nice.

You would have bought a truck without a locker living in Oregon because of a scooped hood?

This. I would have chopped the frame past the cab and gone full bore right from the start.
