The small 4x4 kind with wheels and a cargo bed.

If you mean make/model... probably a Frontier, Ranger or Canyon/Colorado/Isuzu.

I'd buy another 68 Buick Electra if I could find one, trunk is about the same size as the box in a Tacoma, it seats 8 and gets about the same gas mileage. Or maybe another 66 Chevy van, seats 2 like the Tacoma, enough room in the back to store a small car and gets great gas mileage. Guess I'm showing my age though.

Had my eyes set on the Dodge Ram 1500. My friend drives one so I was able to fall in love with it easily. Only reason why I didn't go with it is the gas milage compared to the Tacoma.

I'm heading back to Ford when I renew my truck.

    Don't get me wrong.

My Tacoma has been a good truck, but not better than the Ford's, only as good.

The difference of course is that when I purchased it back in 2007, the Tacoma cost about $3500 more than a Ford and the repair cost are much higher.

    The Toyota dealer also sucks.

I purchased my wife a Ford Edge from the dealer ten minutes from my house. They've been excellent.

Assuming I'm buying new...... I'd keep the choices above.

If used, late 1980's LandCruiser, 2nd or 3rd Gen 4Runner or one of those late 70's - early 80's GMC or Chevy 4x4 stepsides lifted.

Test drove a 2011 Silverado Z71 4X4 & a 2011 F-150 4X4, both 4 door. Have a 02 Duramax for my business & like it but liking the new engine line up Ford has brought to the table & wanting another full size pickup to haul more in comfort as well as replace the wife's car. Sooo to finally answer the question Ford F-150.
Keeping the 08 TRD 4X4 though, besides my son it is my hunting partner so it is going no where........................

A Ford Raptor. Saw one this weekend and saw one today. Probably one of the nicest looking trucks around.

That's easy for me. My last cars were toyota's. But my garage door is only 75" tall so that limits my options on a truck, to what will fit. So if not my taco it would have to be a Frotier, if my garage would hold what ever probably a Raptor.
