I don't believe I've ever heard anyone else in the history of the Tacoma mention an excess of leg room. You must be 5'0" if your friends are talking about excess room behind you in a DCSB.

LoL I guess anything is possible! Well hey, I have never noticed an issue with space, and my kiddos / buddies / dogs love it, so ignorance is bliss.

    Same as everybody else...
Tacoma...but in a different color. My son has a Tundra and it's nice but it's way to much truck to meet my needs.

If I had to do it over again I'd do exactly what I did. Get a FORD full-size then get the Tacoma aswell.

I like the older body style on the Tundras. Those were cool. Then they started looking like they got a bee sting on the highway. I'll buy a Dodge before I'll buy a Tundra. I get shivers even saying that.

I was originally in the market for another truck that would replace my 250. But after a lot of thinking, talking, screaming, crying, and a near divorce my husband and I realized we need to hang onto the full size and I needed a new daily driver. So I got a TRD Sport DCLB. I love it, but I am so happy I didn't sell my 250. I would have deeply regreted it. The Tacoma has virtually no interior space (I carry a lot of shit, it's a personal problem). I road trip regularly with friends and the Taco backseats will not do. It also doesn't have the hauling capabilities. I do some home renovations on the side for extra money so the big beast does better.
Day to day the Taco is great, but full sized are still my favorites. I love big trucks.

40,000+ miles per year average......Believe it or not, even Toyota's eventually wear out.

Actually, I've been in a few wrecks over the years, but NEVER in one of the Toyota's.....

Woah. How long do your Toyotas last in terms of mileage? If you have run them into the ground what usually is the main reason?

I drove one for almost 300,000 miles. It was still a reliable truck when I sold it. I usually replace a truck after 4 or 5 years just to get something different. My Tundra was a 2000....first year production. Had a few minor issues with front brakes and charging system. Tacoma's were all VERY solid trucks.

If I had to do it over again I would do the same thing. Sell my full size truck and get a Tacoma.

The only thing I regret is not doing it sooner. Would have been nice to pick up a supercharger before they went full unicorn.

I considered buying a Tundra, but it is too big for my needs.
    My Tacoma is perfect.

    A few random thoughts.....;

I have a beater full size Dodge that's available for any rough hauling (ie, firewood, scrap iron, etc.....) The Tacoma will handle about 98% of the hauling needs I have.

More than half of my driving now days is commuting to/from work. Decent gas mileage is a plus.

After spending almost 10 years driving a Dodge 2500 quad cab, long bed, 4wd, gas hog that was like driving a freekin' school bus in traffic, the "little" Tacoma is an absolute pleasure to drive!

See above^^^^ I no longer hate parking.

Even a mildly modded Tacoma will turn heads! Regardless if others understand that or not, it's still a cool thing!

After owning 17 different 4wds over the years, the ONLY one that still excites me to drive is a Tacoma. (I'd be cool with a Range Rover though...;) )

The current Tacoma is the first truck I've owned that my wife likes. (So much she's the one who actually bought the truck!)

I bought a new Tundra in 2000 and still driving it (250K). i bought a 2008 Tundra Crewmax limited in 2008. I hated it--too damn big--took up my whole carport--needed a stepladder to get something out of the bed--drank gas and a pain in the ass to park. Was glad to trade it on a 2015 Tacoma 4x4. When I see a new Tundra on the road I don't envy it. Been there and done that.

Tacoma for sure. Tundra is too big for my parking situation. If the Tacoma's get any bigger it won't fit either.
