If you turn off your truck with your headlights off, open the door, then turn on the lights, then shut the door, do your lights stay on?

Mine do. You have to turn the truck off, while the door is closed. Once the door opens, the light automatically turn off

The lights only turn off if the key was on, lights were on, and you opened the door after it was shut off.

For this reason, don't ever turn your truck on and off from the passengers side. You'll end up with a dead battery Ask me how I know! LoL
