None. Stock with options - Roof rack, running boards, hood scoop, etc.
I would get the CHevy Silverado Doublecab. Love how u can fit 6 with the bench seat in front & it looks real nice too

i vote for Nissan Frontier, would definitely not get a Honda Ridgeline because of independent front and rear suspension plus its ugly

See that was me. I was driving an '05 Altima 3.5SE and traded it in at the Toyota dealership to get the Tacoma. I could've probably gotten a better deal at the Nissan dealer since I would've been staying in the family but it just simply wasn't even a consideration.

The new Silverados are really nice, but I wish they had the same front end as the Tahoe. It would still be near the top of my list though.

i'd have to say a fronti, the only truck on the list i didnt test drive. the others where crap especially the ranger/b4000 that thing bucked like crazy on a paved road. I'd get an '01-'04 access cab taco.

I was actually on track and set to get the Nissan Frontier. I would only go with the Pro-4X trim with the 6-speed though. 260 hp, 260 tq and four wheel disc brakes was very good persuasion. However, they couldn't get one already in existance and Nissan refused to make any for two months (even after I put down a deposit of $500 saying I would buy if they made it). The fiance' liked the Frontier more - she said it felt more "car-like". Either way, I'm pretty sure I'm happier with the Tacoma - it was my first choice anyway. I/my parents owned an '86 Pickup for 23 years with no major problems so I naturally went back with Toyota.

where is the vote for none of the above? I'd rather walk or ride my bike then not have my Tacoma. If you get the ranger you'd be doing that anyway. The new F-150s are nice though.

The newest gen of Frontiers are actually rated higher for reliability then the Tacoma; however, the dealers are rated as being less then caring. So, less problems but more BS at the dealer if you do have one. The downside is that there are a lot fewer of them so finding one used is more difficult as is finding used repair parts. Aftermarket is also harder to find. I too prefer the look of the new Equator but they don't come in a manual tranny and dealers are much harder to come by. If they were serviced at any Nissan dealer then I might consider it.

The Ridgeline is also rated higher in quality then the Taco, but for me the unibody and lack of lift options makes it less usefull then a frame on truck.

Since I refuse to drive anything that isn't a manual tranny options are limited.

None of the above. If I were to get another pickup it would be a GMC 3/4 ton with the Duramax setup. I already own a Tahoe Z71 that I use for towing so anything other than the Taco would have to do it all. I love the Taco but it ain't gonna pull & stop a 7,000 lb trailer.
