If it matters any, I didn't vote cause none of those options are a Tacoma or really any good...

was thinking about a Nismo frontier before the taco purchase but there engine output was poor and so was the gas mileage

None of the above, I'd get an 09 F-150. I was seriously looking at them but decided that the Tacoma was the best fit for what I needed and/or wanted right now.

I wouldn't even consider the Dakota, I really don't like the Colorado or Canyon, the Ranger is too small and I don't really think of the Ridgeline as a truck. I don't mind the Frontier although given the dealer support up here, I didn't even look.

From the list, Nismo Frontier I guess. Otherwise it'd be a Dodge 2500 cummins 4x4 quad cab short bed. Myabe a Ford Raptor. Have yet to see one in person yet though.

My vote goes to Nissan, I felt the interior quality of the canyon/colorado were cheap and felt like junk.

Now you can get a Colorado/Canyon with a 5.3l V8. Those little shit-boxes must haul ass!
I bet GM will cancel that option soon. Theyre pulling the plug on so much of their products now. Too bad about Hummer. I never cared for the H2, but the new H3 pick-up was a decent looking truck with real off-road capability from the factory.

When I bought my Tacoma, I was looking at Tundra's & F150's... I decided to go midsize with the taco & havn't looked back since! I have two days that I would consider the best days of my life... The day my divorce was finalized ,(she didn't get the house) and the day I bought my Tacoma!

I was considering the Nissan when I bought the Taco and man am I glad I made the choice I did. I have an 09 Nissan Pathfinder for a work truck and the thing is a POS. Its very uncomfortable to drive, rough ride, all kinds of rattles, and VERY cheaply built. I thought that the Pathfinder was a nice vehicle, but after driving it for 5 months I am very dissapointed in Nissan.

    Frontier NISMO edition.

245 horses under a 6 speed. Sounds like a bit of fun to me.
Even though I know my 5 speed auto taco still beats it off the line and to 60 :burnrubber:

Not an FAN of the auto per-say but I drive enough where the auto is comfortable.

I just got a good deal on the truck I've got and the tranny wasn't a deal breaker, although I like the idea of the 6 speed.

from what I've heard from a couple drivers of the 6 speed is that you've got to mash the pedal to get the power. I don't have that problem :D and you can still down shift to 4th or 3rd on the auto for a quick rpm jump
