Can someone do me a favor and go to your truck and see if there is a little play in the fuel line connector right above the ignition coil for cylinder 5.
The one with the blue snap.
Mine will easily move up and down about a quarter of an inch.
Not having any noticeable fuel delivery issues.

While changing my spark plugs I noticed that connector and the line and area around it were oily and much dirtier than the rest of the engine so I cleaned it up and noticed how much play there was.
I think the O ring in the connector might be shot.

Curious if anyone else has that little wiggle in there.

    Thanks!

    Just checked mine

    2023 with ~19.7k miles

I would guess around 1/8-1/4 of play, no oily residue as you describe.

Any other oil leaks in that area?

Oily residue could indeed be a fuel leak.

Wiggle the fitting around with the engine running and see if anything sprays out. Wiggling can help simulate engine vibrations during normal driving.. up and down movement is normal with a connection like that. Flexing side to side will stress the o-ring and if it's not healthy it will leak

If it smells fuelly or the oily stuff comes back after cleaning it off I'd replace the line for safety reasons

This is normal. You suppose to move the connector down and press clips to disconnect the line

    Thanks for the replies gents.
No fuel leaking with engine running when moving the connector so I guess it's fine. Just seemed like a little too much play in it coupled with the mystery oily grime.
I'll just keep an eye on it.
