    UPDATE
******TOYOTA LEFT A PLUG IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER*****

Well, today I had some time to replace the hose I thought may have some internal blockage due to it being the only 1 I could see with a 90 degree bend. I had a spare I just bought and upon removal, I was greeted by a plastic PLUG in the heat exchangers INLET!!!!

I paid toyota $800 to do the blower install so i wouldnt have to worry about screwing anything up!

    HERES THE UPDATED VIDEOS
plug in the heat exchangers inlet
    https://youtu.be/2KFV9LdG2sw

The truck put back together with the PLUG REMOVED and coolant cycled/purged of air
    https://youtu.be/koPD24qjJGE

*****following vids are older and before I found the problem, good for comparison tho****

heres a couple videos of mine,
1st one you can see me over by the grille to show you the pump motor is "running" and then I show the reservoir barely, barely, barley moving any fluid.

2nd video is after I siphoned out some coolant so it was below the return line in order to see how much, if ANY coolant was being brought through the system..... a TRICKLE

Bad pump. Bad pump. Naughty. That pump is doing a lot of sucking, but not enough blowing.

What's your solution, for the remedy?

Need to take that pump apart to see what failed too. Money is on the impeller breaking off of the shaft.

This problem right here is a defined path to non-cooled intake charge air. Which would then lead to :boom:

Is it hard to source a pump if it's bad?

I ordered a pump for a gt500, and also found a pump with the matching trd#......which still had a bosch part# on it, so i crossed the bosch number, and got that one too.
Toyota wants almost 500, cross referencing the number got me the same bosch for 93 bucks, ill provide a link AFTER i know it fits. I dont wanna send people the wrong info.

Ill def be tearing into the old one.

Luckily its been cold for a couple months, andni dont drive to nutty.... but im nit sure exactly how long this was an issue. No pinging that i can hear..... but thats not making me feel great.

It took a few hours to source, even the dealership had no clue, until i found the trd # for him... and the parts guy is a friend and i have faith in his effort....

    In the end, Amazon

    Toy part# ptr29-35062

$265 from Amazon.... 400ish from my buddy...500 list

Cross reference the part number labeled on the side of the toyota one (find a pic), and it can be had for 93 bucks. If its indeed the same.

Funny, its also a "rover" and ford part

That said, ill provide a direct link once ive tested it.

If anyone does this ln their own, be warned its just an idea i had using the oem pumps picture.

@Torspd Didn't we discuss putting a larger pump in at one point. What was the conclusion? Not worth it unless you drop a good penny for over twice the flow or something like that?

Nah a year or so again it was a topic for discussion and someone (@Torspd) did the research. Found a way better pump but I wanna say it was a couple hundred at least. Can't remember the details off the top of my head

No but for real, you can get a 5GPM tank pump for like 59.99. Good call.

The pump I got with my TRD kit is the exact same as the one with my Rousch kit. Can't be anything special?

Nope.... in the end, everyone takes shit off a shelf.
Its rare that anyone is gunna be asking for some special made pump if they can plumb in something off the shelf. Its just how things go.
Im curious how much the bosch pump is from land rover.

Don't overreact. I've driven without pumping several months, even at summer, before I got the wiring ready (switch for the pump that I can turn it off at wintertime.

I figured warm air, plus compression with a byproduct of heat, plus compression ratio, with a run thru death valley towards the end of last year... well, could have been bad.
