Coming from a bimmer coupe with 2 inches of ground clearance, the Tacoma is the softest riding car I’ve ever owned.

My new kings suspension is the smoothest suspension I have put on a truck and that includes 700lb springs. It's Cadi smooth for a truck/jeep. But it could be that what I consider smooth and what you consider smooth are different. Truth is, I have never owned a cadi. So I say cadi smooth, but have no idea what that really means. lol. But my stock OR suspension was pretty good for stock and certainly softer than every other truck I have owned, which is a very looooong list.

I learned from the boys at accutune that it is all about valving, spring rate, even load rating on the tires.. when all these things are working together, it’s a wonderful life.

if you want Cadillac comfort, buy a Cadillac..

I’ve never seen u-bolts mounted “upside down” like that. Is that specific to this lift?

I got the tacoma I wanted and it rides like I knew it would. This was my 5th toyota 4wd truck so I'm not bitching. I really like getting 22mpg avg over my silverado crew 4wd truck getting 13mpg. The Cadillac reference is old school. You are right about things working together and all those after market companies from acctune to tom woods. Biggest problem I see is every single company that has been around since WW2 including Dana Spicer does not have a listing for replacement rear drive shaft u joints for 2018-2022 Tacoma. If you call any Toyota dealer and ask them when will they have them they all say out of stock with open ended ETA. That kinda scary since Spicer makes the OEM and refuses to list it for a 2018 forward. For the 1st time in Spicer history a truck that they made the part for is on the road for 5yrs without a replacement part listing. Yes they work good when new

A short wheel base with a narrow stance will have a choppy ride.

A full size DC truck has a longer wheel base and a wider stance, therefore it will have a "better" ride when compared.

More physics that people keep trying to circumvent.

You are right on that. I knew that before I bought 1 from expirence. All these taco owners chasing the unicorn spending big $$$$. Maybe they find it, maybe they spend more chasing it. Who knows how long they can hold that unicorn if they catch it. Thats why I said it is what it is. They all ride good new. They out last all others as a brand

Sure. Remove shocks and springs. Weld in steel tube in place of the springs.

You'll save a boat load of $$ not needing to replace shocks.
