Tell your son he won’t regret getting one...if he decides he wants one...

I’ve been averaging 33 MPG...and that’s driving it moderately hard. It’s hard not to smile when you get in it.

Besides the TRD Pro embroidered on the headrests and somewhat different leather print, they are almost identical to the seats in the TRD Off-Road Premium Package.

I would not count on the drivers side cubby to be back on the 2020, the ones on display are prototype trucks and most likely had beds from 2018. You can however always add that bin yourself if you would like to have it.

A base 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro automatic with no added options cost $42,760 (I got this price from old articles during the press release of the TRD Pro for Tacoma), 2018 Tacoma TRD Pro automatic with no added options cost $44,665 (Price is from KBB), and the 2019 Tacoma TRD Pro automatic cost $45,665 (Toyota.com).

Other than the 360 camera, I'm sure all the new features will be standard such as carplay, power seat, and led headlights.

Without the 360 camera, I can see a 2020 Toyota TRD Pro to retail for over $46,500 but I'm leaning more towards $47,100 and thats without the 360 camera.
With the camera I can see Toyota asking for over $48,000 msrp.

I was initially pissed out about the bin because I wanted to install my air compressor in there but found out they made a mount for the passenger side that still incorporates the AC outlet.

Power seat (singular), now that is a funny reason to wait to buy a truck. Whether they are power or not, it’s the seat design and how it’s made that is more important. You want comfy seats, buy a new Volvo, now those are nice.

Does anyone know around what timeframe they release the pricing for the trucks?

You just reminded me it's only the driver seat that is powered not the passenger. You're also correct about the seat design and that the new 2020 seat does not look much different at all other than power controls rather than manual control on the left hand side. The only advantage that I can think of for the single driver power seat is that there is it has more adjustability compared to the few fixed positions on the manual seat.

Yes, more adjustability in a powered seat but regarding comfort - it's most likely going to be the same seat with a motor added. It will feel the same when you sit in it as the manual seats. Unless they redesign the seat (like bolsters, lumbar, different foam, etc...) but that's unlikely.

I'm just curious if the power seat from the 2020 will use the same floor bolt pattern. Maybe we'll be able to retrofit an OEM driver's seat from a wrecked 2020 into 2016-19. Maybe the base of the seat is all that is needed? Probably have to run power for the motor, but that shouldn't be a hassle.

    I'd move to a 2020 in a second if I was sure the F'n pedal/steering wheel vibe
    had been resolved.

    I haven't experienced any pedal/steering wheel vibrations... I'm a 2017 and my drivetrain/wheels/tires are all still stock.

Not sure if the issue you're experiencing is a widespread problem, but I've probably missed the posts about it.

Really? I hate power seats. When cleaning underneath them it takes forever to slide it all the way forward and then all the way backwards. Just give me the pull bar and its done in .5 seconds.

You talking about a vibration through the brake pedal when slowing down from about 45?

wide spread issue for many. it's around the 2k rpm mark( which is where this truck lives)
and will numb your hands and foot, most like myself have just learned to deal with it.
