Tacoma because the above situations are so rare that it makes more sense to rent a "real truck" as needed. :anonymous:

    A few.
Leaked photo of the 2023 Sequoia that Toyota is scheduled to offically show tomarrow night. The front end the Tundra should have imo. Hopefully its a direct swap.

I didn't know I wanted a 2023 sequoia until I saw that photo, I think they nailed it!

Looks better than the 4Runner and the Highlander!

Is it just me or does the wheels/tires look incredibly small for that body?

The new Sequoia looks great, looks like the Tahoe will be getting sold or traded in. :)

Im not sure I'd get the new Tundra...probably a base commodity 5.0 F150. I would just want 4x4, a nice screen and not steelies.

Full-size, huh? Back in 2008 I bought a Ranger FX4 (manual). Had it until last Christmas when it got totaled. I figured that I want the same size truck, but since the "ranger" is now a pretend truck with a pretend truck motor, I wanted a Tacoma. Got one a couple of weeks ago (2019) and am super satisfied.

However, after 2012 when Ford killed the Ranger, I'd get calls from Ford dealerships every few months asking if I was interested in trading in my Ranger on a new Ford. I'd reply, "sure, if you can get me another new Ranger" (this was before the new pretend ranger was released). Of course they could not, but would always offer "but we can get you into a new F150!".

My reply then was the same as it is now (when I got the Tacoma). "If I wanted an F150, then I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT and F150 instead of the Ranger!!!".

Still the same. If I wanted a big truck, I'd buy a big truck. I want a mid-sized REAL truck. Today that means Tacoma. All the other mid-size ones are pretend trucks, IMO.

(p.s., LOVE my Tacoma. 2019 TRD Sport double cab, 5ft bed, manual).

The Tundra would be my choice, hypothetically, if I just had to have a full size truck, for some reason that does not currently exist.

Nope. We had no issues with the hemi. Our friends own it now and it’s still going strong.

If you think our 6 speed shifts too much can you imagine the 8 & 10 speed trans on other trucks?……
My truck fits me just fine for what I need, if you need bigger than go for it, $60k and up……
