2021 Ford Raptor or maybe the 2022 TRD PRO Tundra if it actually get the V6 twin turbo making 480 HP and 640TQ. I read somewhere that is a motor used in a Lexus SUV already. It would be cool to get an EV motor to power the front or rear wheels on top of having a V6 with two snails/:burnrubber:

    I'd pick one of these...

    Ram TRX
F150 Raptor (3rd gen, the new redesign (2021-2022?) doesn't look right from the front)
F250 (undecided on trim level, maybe a limited or tremor)
Tundra (reliable, but outdated; would like to see the redesign)

Out of those four I'd be happiest towing with the F250, but I'd have the most fun with the Ram TRX in red or black. Hard to beat the roar of a big V8. :mudding::burnrubber:

    Thanks
    Didn’t get it brand new.
18 Lariat with 30k miles. Fully loaded(502A pack)except for sunroof/360 view camera/adaptive cruise control, which frankly I don’t care for.

Depends on the new Tundra. Just found out we have another kid on the way, so and upgrade is most likely in our future.

That new Chevy Silverado zr2 could be interesting and currently the only full size I would have any passing interest in.

Easy… F350 7.3 gasser, preferably in Tremor trim. If not that potentially the Ford Lightning. I think that’s a very interesting truck.

No, that’s one of my buddies.

However, we just got back from his bachelor party week traveling in this F-350 7.3/10 speed.

Not gonna lie to you, pretty sweet truck. We were in the mountains the whole time and hand calculated the 500 mile trip at 16 mpg.

I still have my GMC. Shit….I’m not getting rid of that work horse anytime soon.

I have a 2007 Tacoma, AND a 2014 F150. In 2007 the Tacoma suited my needs. But by 2016 it was too small. At the time I could have traded my Tacoma for a new 2016 Ford, or buy a lightly used 2014 Ford and keep the Tacoma. It was almost exactly the same out of pocket cost to me either way. I opted to keep the Tacoma as a 3rd vehicle and don't regret my choice.

I'm going to give the Tacoma to one of the grandkids in 5-10 years, but will trade the 2014 Ford for a new 2024 in a couple of years.

If buying new today I'd go F150 Supercrew 4X4 with the 5.0 V8 and 3.73 gears. For a long time I was on the fence about the 3.5 turbo engine but I still don't trust it. Most all of them appear to be fine, but there are just enough that give major problems under 200,000 miles that I'll stay with the V8. Fuel mileage is 1 mpg less and tow ratings are within 1000 lbs. If I need to tow more than the 5.0 will pull I'll go with a 3/4 ton. Ford had some issues with 2018 models with the 5.0 using oil. I don't think they ever had any breakdowns, just used more oil than drivers liked. That has apparently been corrected.

Seeing as I'm completely committed to a Tacoma right now and for the foreseeable future... I don't have an answer for you.

However, I could see my needs changing in 10+ years. I'm hoping by then they've perfected, and at least made electric/hybrid trucks affordable. I could see myself giving up my manual transmission OR for a super nice f-150 or tundra or something

I like what they did to this F150. A Whipple blower would really set it off. They've got several neat customized trucks worth checking out, but want a small mortgage for each one.

That is without a doubt my absolute most favorite thing about my mid size truck: being paid off.

People crazy about prices these days and that was before the global situation skyrocketed prices to new heights.

I wonder if that gas station crackhead who offered me $7500 for my 2010 decked out a year and a half ago still thinks I'm crazy for telling him not a dime less than $35k.
