it was a few months ago. one of the younger(i say that as i’m 22) i think he was 18 or 19. had a GF give him like $800 or so to do what ever he wanted. nothing wrong with that, but i’m sure he will be buying flowers for a while.

I knew Toyota and GM were in on projects like this together. The thermosdat/comapss piece looks exactly like the one that was in my parents 98 Chev Astro. My overall point was that my fiancee has come around to accepting the tacoma, as it's proven to be a good workhorse even though it's technically "rated" less than her dad's 1500's. I haven't replaced any of the suspension yet either. I'm waiting for the new frame Toyota said they'd give me, and I'm looking to replace/lift the truck at that time and just supply Toyota with the parts and have them install it for me.

Her and I are both recent grads as well. I bought my truck while still in school, she just bought a car. I've got her car for the week while she uses the Tacoma around her parents farm. From what I heard from her yesterday evening it's slowly winning over her and her family as it out works any of the american "work horses"

This. My wife loved my Tacoma so much and wanted one but said "we don't need two trucks".

So she got an 07 4 Runner V8 Sport Edition :)

Show me a wife who cares what her man drives and I'll show you a future alimony obligation. She should have the independence and security to care only about what she drives. And if she doesn't have the financial means to do that, then she has no standing to complain.

(Don't tell my wife I said that...)

    Tell em to get lost.
Just kidding. I don't have to worry about that yet, still single. But it'd be too bad, because I will never get rid of Stonewall Jackson. That truck is my son.
