I was thinking about just re-flaring the hard lines and running some standard extended lines for a f350, etc.

Had a fucking breakthrough in the culmination of the AWP (Awaiting Parts) game today.

Tube guy is coming back from hunting in Elko and has 2 sticks of DOM.
Knuckle guy finally got around to shipping my flat top knuckle and steering arm.
Summit had all the fuel line parts I needed in stock, pick up this afternoon.
Electric fan shipped out and should be here by next week.
1350 and 1330 yokes with ujoints and straps arrived by UPS today.
    and brakes...

I went to a local hydraulic shop today and had them make me up some 40" braided brake lines. It was about what I expected to pay, but they pressure tested to 3000lbs and they're 42 in long with fittings.

Also, I noticed a lot of guys created a spreadsheet of their costs. I didn't do that because I don't want to know. More importantly, I don't want my wife having such information.

Haha! Same on the spreadsheet costs, I keep one as a checklist for ordering shit, but don't want to know the cost.

Good call on the spreadsheet. People also leave out all the consumable parts and "little stuff" like bolts, fittings and other crap that adds up quick!!

I do recomend making a spreadsheet of all the non tacoma parts you put on with part numbers and print a copy off and stick in your glove box. That way you know what year or P/N ford wheel bearing you need if you need one in bumbfuck no where for example.

Dude, if I added in consumables and special tools... ugh. I don't want to know.

The brake lines from master back are going to be a bitch. I am running hardline to the driver upper link, soft line across the joint, to hardline, back to softline, to a T fitting then to the drums. All 7/16" to 4AN softlines, to match the rear drums. The front is 7/16" too. Beside that, 97 front and rear axle from F-350. I took the VIN off one at Pick n Pull so I can give it to the parts store if they go by VIN.

Hopefully I will get brakes, fueling, and battery relocation done this weekend. I found some old 0 gauge welder ground (about 30 feet) in the garage from when I bought my first buzzbox. I might start sheet metal on the fenders and hood and get all of that mounted nicely.

Those bars from the main tube to the shock mounts really tie everything together. Looking slick

Installed knuckle, sorted angle for panhard and tacked mounts, and did version 1 of battery tie down. Need thicker flat stock across the top or something with an edge to prevent warp.

Also realize I need a 10" grade 8 bolt to go through steering arm and knuckle for double shear. They are 27 dollars.

Lol at this point. Throw money at it!

Steering mocked, tacked. Running to get hardware, then I'm probably going to run power today. :)

Also, my 60 year old floor jack died finally. So harbor freight will have to work.

Late night. Got all the links and steering burned in. No more... Going back to stock? Lol.

Panhard brackets in, within 1° of drag link, so hopefully it's drivable on city roads as I welded both diffs for show and I'll be attending car meets and crawling up mall parking blocks. It's basically a show truck... Maybe Fordyce too. :p

I also redneck mounted my radiator. Not the prettiest brackets, but I'll clean them up. I didn't want to burn through so I did pretty quick passes at low amps.

Tomorrow a quick stop at summit for radiator hose and adapter. Get my electric fan in. Try to make the hoses for hydro assist, and get fueling wiring taken care of.

Also need to sleeve the portion between the top of the tie rod and steering arm. Faaaaaaawwwwwkkk, getting close to moving under internal combustion finally.

Radiator plumbed. Tranny cooler, fan, PS cooler all mounted. Rear shaft modified to 1350 yoke and lengthened with 2.5" HREW and turned down spline shaft. Need fluids and fuel pump wired, then test drive around the block
