Built front driveshaft, wired up electric fan, tightened down all the things. Found some clanks and leaks, tightened more shit. Zip tied my old wiring harness to the rear, slapped some lights on it, put my license plate on. Drove to get gas around the corner.

Tons of body roll in corners, need heavier springs. Whatever, it goes, and not undergeared. :p

Yeah, I figure I'm good until I get all the hardware installed on the links. No wheelin until everything has washers, locks and paint.

Then I'll sort out bumps and limit straps.

Ummmmm. Some of it is in my toolbox, some is just chilling on the firewall now.

Some of it is feeding worms.

Right now it's self tapped into the firewall out of the way, I figured I'd make brackets soon enough.

Met a new yota friend at the store getting ice cream. Lol my truck turns heads.

I've never had so much fun driving to the store to "break in the gears."

just read through the build. Very nice job! I don't wheel my truck hard enough to justify doing this and if i did i'd probably stick to leaf springs... but i am loving seeing how you're doing it. are you planning on trying to give it sort-of bedsides again? what about front fenders. i suppose it's more practical to leave everything off but i think it'd drive me nuts... not to mention what the cops around me would think!:D

Sickkkkkk!!!! So glad to see you’re already out and about in it! You ripped her out crazy fast! Can’t wait to see it on the trails

Curious if you notice the homemade DS rolling around the streets? Masked by everything else or hit it close enough not to get ridiculous vibrations?

Meh, function over form right now. I'll sort out the cosmetic shit later, no bedsides, but I'll do something about fenders soon.

So, I can't tell. There's a ton of tire noise, so my guess is there's a small vibration somewhere in there, under all the other shit. As soon as I get new tires and align my links, align the tires, then adjust my coilovers, I'll probably notice the vibration.

Learned a cool trick though. If you add a hose clamp to the shaft, it acts like a balance weight. Drive, feel, then rotate until vibration goes away. When you get the spot where vibration lessens, that's where you add the weight.
